Signal Caves

After a long absence I can finally participate in Sunday Snapshot as well as some other photo link ups. My camera that I had before got the dreaded lens error message and I finally grew tired of trying to get it fixed...although I still might try.   For many months I was without a camera.  Until now!

I found a deal on a DSLR camera and took the plunge...got a zoom lens and a fixed price lens besides the camera body, an sd card and a bag to store it in for less than you might think.  I can "run with the big boys now"!  (What movie is this from)?

All that to say that below is one of the pictures I took with my new camera.  I liked the way the shadows and light were showing in this picture.  I took two shots within a couple of minutes of each other and was fascinated to see how the light and shadows changed in that time.  I liked this image best so am showcasing it here.

It was originally shot in color, but I knew when I shot it that it would make a good black and white shot so using my very new editing skills, I edited it to black and white, while keeping the original color one.

 Shot with Nikon D5100
 Lens 55-200mm VR
 Focal length 68 mm
 Aperture F4.2
 Shutter Speed 1/160
 ISO 200

Finally figured out how put a watermark on my photo!  For my followers that is what the update is.
